Salix babylonica
One lovely part of going to class with Kelly, is that if I am lucky she will draw me something! Like this lovely Octopus I named, “OctoHi!”
And for this I draw Kelly things like this!
Acer palmatum atropurpureum
Maybe I should stop depicting myself with all sorts of viruses….could be be foreshadowing and that creeps me out.
Quercus rubra
My roommate Kelly, is a Exercise Physiology major, soon to be a Doctorate of Physical Therapy student! Anyway sometimes I will visit her medical microbiology class, where we learn about infectious diseases. It’s awful for me because I get paranoid and freak out when they show pictures, but I like to think Kelly enjoys my company. So, I have a series of drawings from that class. This is my rendition of rabies:
Liriodendron tulipifera
My beautiful friend Megan has a bad habit of wearing hideous shoes. She had a pair last year that I called “loafers” because they looked like loaves of bread. Here’s to Megan and her shoes I hate!!!!! (All said with much love!)
Fagus Grandifolia
My friend Madison is one of my favorite characters to draw. Maybe because I have been seeing her 5 days out of the week, and sometimes more for the past three years now. I have lots time to perfect her character.
Usually when I work on new characters, I make sure to draw my figure next to them to compare….sometimes I also include her reaction to them.
There are other times when, since I only work in pen, that the characters I make don’t work. This is an example of that….
